My wife & I attended your Holiday Brass Concert 11/30/08 at the Beacon Hill Presbyterian Church! Our Son & his wife took us, after we found the notice on line! We were visiting S.A. for Thanksgiving!
We are both musicians in the Twin Cities area. I'm a retired Band Teacher/Director from the Edina Schools in Minn.
We did so much enjoy your Music, especially the "World Carols" part!
We wish that that part was on your CD!
Are you planning a CD of your British Tradition Concert?
We wish that we could attend in Feb., but we are a bit too far away!
Please keep us informed by Email if you wish & save mailing costs!

John Moore - Chairman of the Music Department / St. Mary's University
I just want to tell you guys that I was really happy with what I saw and heard during your summer Brass Camp this past week! The expertise and invaluable guidance that I observed all of you sharing with the young students were most impressive. Those aspiring student musicians are so very fortunate to have been able to have this experience with artist-teachers who are the best in their fields! Thank you all for doing this and I am extremely happy to have it happening at St. Mary's University's Music Department!

Amanda Bomar, French Horn - 8th Grade, Sul Ross MS / SA Brass Camp
This band camp has been one of the best I have been to. The teachers here are very helpful. They not only help you play your horn better but they play along with you - that to me was the best part of the camp. The teachers here also put you in lots of different groups. I played in a group of just horns and also in groups with different types of brass instruments. I thought that was cool.

Michael Gause, Trumpet - 11th Grade, Samuel Clemens HS / SA Brass Camp
Today I especially liked my lesson with John Carroll about different transpositions. Also the conversations with Mr. Andrew Gignac have taught me a lot about different types of trumpets and techniques of playing.

Michael Woodard, French Horn - 9th Grade, Health Careers HS / SA Brass Camp
Today at camp I had a really fun time practicing with my sextet and playing some really nice music in the large ensemble. I really liked playing this song named Ave Maria, its now one of my favorite songs. I look forward to playing more good music with the groups.

Manuel Martinez, tuba, 10th Grade - Fox Tech HS / SA Brass Camp
Today was 1st day of the San Antonio Brass Camp. What I liked best today was the master class. We were asked to play solos that we had been working on and given advice on what we can do to improve or what we have to work on to sound better.

I just wanted to thank every in the brass group for all there support and for believing in us.The Brass program is a really good place to get to know people and learn how to improve your brass skill, I've really learned alot from the instructers. My favorite part in the Brass was that we got a one on one help with someone who plays the same instrument as I and told us what we do if we had a problem and they would fix it, now knowing the problem really helped me a lot.
