The San Antonio Youth Brass Band (SAYBB) will host its inaugural Open Call Rehearsal on Sunday, April 19, 2026, from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM at Treadaway Recital Hall on the campus of St. Mary's University.

SAYBB was created by the San Antonio Brass Band to inspire and develop the next generation of brass and percussion musicians throughout South Texas. Our goal is to provide students with an exceptional educational, creative, and leadership-building experiences while introducing them to the rich tradition of

brass band performance.

This opportunity is open to all brass and percussion students in grades 7–12 and will conclude with a final concert performance on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at 4:00 pm in the Guadalupe Chapel at St. Mary's University.
