Introducing the San Antonio Youth Brass Band!

The San Antonio Youth Brass Band (SAYBB) will hold its inauguaral Open Call Rehearsal on Sunday, April 19, 2026 from 3:30 - 5:00 pm at St. Mary's University's in the Treadaway Recital Hall.

The San Antonio Brass Band is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of brass and percussion enthusiasts in the South Texas region and fostering an exceptional educational, creative and leadership building experience for each student. This experience is open to all brass and percussion students grades 7 - 12 and will culminate with a  performance on Sunday, May 17th.

Schedule of activities:

Rehearsal: Sunday April 19 - 3:30 - 5:00 pm

Rehearsal: Sunday April 26 - 3:30 - 5:00 pm

Rehearsal: Sunday May 3 - 3:30 - 5:00 pm

Rehearsal: Sunday May 10 - 3:30 - 5:00 pm

Concert: Sunday May 17 - 3:30 - 5:00 pm
