The San Antonio Brass Band, led by Dr. Matthew Mireles, earned 2nd place in the First Section at the 2026 NABBA Championships held in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on April 10–11, 2026. They achieved a score of 91.133, securing back-to-back podium finishes. The band, featuring St. Mary's University students and professionals, competed on April 10.2026 NABBA Championships
